CHELMSFORD FAIRTRADE TOWN CAMPAIGN EXHIBITION
23 - 28 February 2009 Public Square, Chelmsford Library.
CHELMSFORD STAR CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY FAIRTRADE EVENING
7.15pm 25 February in the Quadrant, Moulsham Street. Guest speaker Gemma Steptoe Fairtrade Foundation. The Mayor of Chelmsford will be present and there will a short film on the Co-op and Fairtrade bananas, a Fairtrade quiz, Fairtrade buffet and Fairtrade wine tasting. You will also have the chance to win a Fairtrade hamper. If you would like to attend ring 01245 216925.
CHELMSFORD FAIRTRADE TOWN CAMPAIGN
High Street Traidcraft Stall 27 February from 9am to 5pm. We will also have samples of Starbucks Fairtrade coffee to taste. Come along and taste it.

GREEN PARTY JUMBLE SALE
Danbury Village Hall 2pm, Saturday 28 February. Fairtrade refreshments, plant stall, mock auction. Entrance 10p.
OXFAM
outside the Oxfam Bookshop, High Street, Chelmsford. 28 February 10.30am to 12.30pm. This marks the launch of Four-a-week ethical living campaign which asks people to make small changes to the way we live, focusing on Fairtrade, food origin, waste and meat consumption.
ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY
24 February 12.30 - 2.30pm The Chaplaincy, Student Village. Free pancakes with Fairtrade sugar, honey and lemons.

5 March 1.30 - 3.30pm Trade Debate, MAB 116. All welcome.
6 March 10.30am - 2.30pm Information table and Fairtrade chocolate tasting with Chelmsford Fairtrade Town Campaign and Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society.
6 March 1.15pm The Big Banana Challenge. Outside MAB. ARU will be joining hundreds of others to beat the world banana eating record.
THRIFTWOOD BUSINESS & ENTERPRISE CENTRE
will be open during Fairtrade Fortnight and will be sending an open invitation to nearby schools to hear about Fairtrade. The cafe and shop will be open from 10am to 3pm on 25 February and a large selection of craft and food will be on offer. This will be repeated on 3 March from 10am to 3pm. A Fairtrade competition is also going to be held within the school for all pupils.

TRINITY METHODIST CHURCH, RAINSFORD ROAD
. To mark Fairtrade Fortnight Rose Loy, our local representative and supplier will present' "Fair Trade Developments and Update on Pakistan" on Wednesday 4 March at 7.30pm in The Link at the Trinity Ladies Group. KING EDWARD VI GRAMMAR SCHOOL
Fairtrade Fashion Show 5 March. On display will be T shirts designed by students, Fairtrade fashions from local suppliers, and a students' fashion show. Fairtrade refreshments will be available. The Mayor of Chelmsford will be present.
WRITTLE COLLEGE
Go Bananas 6 - 7 March. Another contribution to beat the banana eating record and to promote Fairtrade. The Writz, Chef Restaurants, Student Shop and the Watering Hole will be well stocked with Fairtrade bananas throughout Fairtrade Fortnight. The Writz and Watering Hole will be serving a different Fairtrade dish all through the Fortnight and the Student Shop will be offering taste sessions of Fairtrade products.CHELMSFORD CATHEDRAL Coffee Morning & Fairtrade Stall 7 March 10.00am to 12noon St. Cedd's Hall Chapter House.
